Living Room Decor/Summer Vibes

Happy Sunday Everyone!

Today I will be sharing all the decor details from our living room. We moved the first week of May, which was a couple of weeks away from Summer. If you read my last home decor post — (New Apartment/Home Decor) — you will find some of my inspirational decor and why I went with this Summer theme.

I wanted an inviting place as soon as you walk into our apartment with some Miami tropical feels. All I am missing is a balcony overseeing the ocean, am I right? -lol (One day!)

I also wanted to keep the space simple and de-cluttered but functional. Furniture is the right size for the space, our coffee table has storage for books and smaller items, we got a swivel chair so when we have more guest they can also enjoy turning to the TV without moving the chair. Overall, it’s cozy enough for us.

I do plan on making some color scheme changes since we are closer to the holidays and I want to incorporate fall decor which doesn’t really go with my current theme. — stay tuned for those changes on here and the grams!
