Living Room Decor-Update 2020′

    Good Morning Everyone! 

Now that Christmas is over and all Christmas decor is packed away, I decided to update the living room with a few new decorations. I am sure some of you who follow me on Instagram might have already seen some of the updates. I am finally getting around to posting the changes on here. 

Starting with adding a side table next to our swivel chair. After the Christmas Tree, this space felt a bit empty. I added a blue vase to tie back to the blue decor, placed some additional dried pampas, a white natural stone and a candle for a cozy space to sit and drink my coffee or read a book.

Coffee tables are tricky, there’s a couple of rules but honestly, you can make it as nice as you like. This time around I decided to use the following; Something with height / something living (my flowers are not real but… lol) something quirky / something personal / a tray / a candle and last, a stack of books.

I completely updated our TV console. Prior to Christmas, the decor was teal/blue tones. Since I removed the rug, this time around I decided to just go for a blue tone overall. I wanted to keep things cohesive, same tall/short vases, total of three decorative items on each side and a center piece. I am still trying to decide whether to add art or shelves to the right hand side of the TV but I haven’t found the perfect art item to add. (I’ll update once I do)
