Happy New Year!

Here we go 2020 – Bring it on!

Hi everyone, I really hope you all had a wonderful time bringing in the new year, with that being said –

Happy New Year!!

I can’t believe how quickly 2019 went by but to be honest, I was ready for the new year. Here’s to new adventures and travels that will be unforgettable, to new memories you’ll cherish for a lifetime, to new opportunities you will never forget and most importantly, to a new decade! {although, some might say the new decade starts in 2021, it’s all  about who you ask} 

Now, I have one tradition I especially live by every year, it’s common but it works for me, that Being; writing my goals down, at least 5 I truly want to accomplish and putting it away till the end of the following year. Then as the year is once again coming to and end, you open that paper, look back and reflex on what you have accomplish. — I know for some people, having a vision board works great because you see your goals daily, which makes you want to accomplished them as you are reminded each day, I do want to try this once in my life but for now, opening that piece of paper with my goals and looking back is a great feeling, especially if you truly did complete some of them. As the year was ending, I made sure to write my goals down and put that little paper away. 

What are some of your NYE traditions? I would love to hear some that you guys follow. 

Before I share some of our NYE Rooftop party pictures, I want to leave you guys with a positive quote I lived by and will continue to live by for many years to come — I came across his Instagram and instantly fell in love with R.M Drake quotes. I have a couple of his books as well but this quote has always been meaningful to me. I only hope that as the New Year progresses and you come across my blog and read this post, you are inspired and believe in yourself – because I believe in you!   

I want to see you grow. 

I want to see you for who you are.

I want ten years to pass,

so you could come back

and tell me how much you’ve loved, 

how much you’ve learned. 

I want to see you inspired

and touched by the flames inside you.

I want to see you do all the things we both

know you’re capable of…

But I can’t help you
