This Years Christmas Theme / Home Decor

Happy Wednesday Everyone! 

I am excited to finally be writing about Christmas! This is by far my favorite holiday season and as I sit here drinking hot cocoa on the first snow day this year in NYC, I can’t wait to share all the decorating details with you! 

If you haven’t guessed this year’s Christmas theme by now, then let me give you a hint – Feathers!

As I was walking around Macy’s broadway store, which by the way has 9 floors, I felt like a little girl in a candy store. All the Christmas decorations were so beautiful. I started my hunt and found my black, white and gold ornaments but came across some white feathered mini-wreaths. I then knew my tree would have white feathers. I remembered looking at CB2’s website and seeing more feather decorations and I just knew, this would be my theme!

This year, as you can clearly see from my pictures, Ryan and I are expecting our first baby and we are more than excited! This year’s Christmas is special following next year, when Baby Jumi will officially join our family.

As you all know, I like themes and I wrote a post about how I make all my changes from season to season (How to Update Your Home Decor from Season to Season)  in hopes that this will be useful information for my lovely readers.
